Alice's Tea Time

This past Monday, we spent some time at an old fashioned tea party put on by my dear friend, Steven, for myself and my daughters. The theme was "The Mad Hatter Tea Party." We all came as characters from Alice In Wonderland, complete with costumes we created ourselves. Steven was the Mad Hatter, of course. My daughters came as Alice and The White Queen and myself as The Red Queen.

A great time was had by all, overlooking Steven's gorgeous garden while sipping tea and eating cucumber sandwiches. He even prepared a "magic potion" for us to drink before we entered Wonderland. What a hoot! Thank you for a magical time, Steven!

  1. Oh my gosh! Why don't we (adults) do these sorts of things more often? How fun! So important to keep childhood magic alive in our day-to-day lives. I feel like we need to see a picture of Camille as the Red Queen. Love it!

  2. I know! It was a blast! I think we forget that magic doesn't have to end just because we are grownups :) Unfortunately, the girls took the pictures of me as The Red Queen and they were all blurry, so I wasn't able to post them :(
